A worker has been killed in an accident at Hanjin Heavy Industries’ shipyard in the Philippines.
The sandblaster, identified only as Maynard, was killed when his head was crushed by a barrier at the Subic Bay plant on Wednesday, the Inquirer daily said, citing a workers’ group.
Lawyer Virgie Suarez was quoted as saying a colleague accidentally pressed the button that activated the sliding barrier.
