A Ukrainian seafarer has been killed by steam that escaped from an engine pipe on a Greek boxship in Bangladesh.
The incident occurred on the 1,730-teu Camilla (built 1996) on Wednesday at Chittagong's outer anchorage, Bdnews24 cited police as saying.
The crewman was named as Basil Kairil. He was declared on arrival at hospital, according to police inspector Zahirul Islam.
