Theattack happened about 35nm from the Bonny Fairway buoy, off the Niger Delta.Two other men were wounded in the attack.
Theexact location was not reported, but unconfirmed reports state the attackoccurred south of the Okwori oil field.
Thoseabducted included an Indonesian, an Iranian, a Malaysian and aworker from Thailand.
Nomilitant group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, nor didanyone issue a ransom demand, Nigerian authorities said.
