No pollution has been reported from the 70,000-dwt Formosa Plastics ship (built 2005), which went aground in strong winds off Grand Bahama on 26 September.

The Tribune daily reported the vessel was afloat and awaiting further instructions on Wednesday.

Three previous attempts had failed to shift the tanker, so Socatra's 38,000-dwt Alga (built 2012)was brought in from New York to take 8,000 tonnes of fuel from its tanks.
