The affected ship is the 225,000-gt Allure of the Seas (built 2010) and she will undergo the work in late February 2014.

Royal Caribbean intends to cancel the 23 February cruise while the ship undergoes repairs at the Grand Bahama Shipyard, in Freeport, Bahamas.

“We sincerely regret that we will be unable to deliver the Royal Caribbean cruise vacation that our guests were looking forward to,” said Royal Caribbean International chief executive Adam Goldstein.
