Local reports said the 2,900-dwt Elland (built 1982) sank onSaturday in 50 metres of water off Durankulak, Bulgaria, but all crew wererescued.

It anchored to repair the fault, but developed a list of 15degrees after the cargo of plywood started to shift.

They boarded a lifeboat and were picked up by another cargovessel and a tug.

An
