Authorities said the 1,300-dwt Lady Zai (built 1976) leftGuyana for the Caribbean island with 10 Guyanese crew on 9 March.
A man named as 53-year-old Lilkumar died en route andanother seafarer was hospitalised on arrival in St Lucia.
He has since been released. No cause of death for his colleague has yet been given.
The vessel is managed by KB Enterprise of Guyana.
