The blaze broke out on Monday at the shipyard in Ulsan, injuring two more people.
Dorian confirmed the vessel was hull number 2657, an 84,000-cbm ship due for completion next month for the Greek owner.
It added: “The cause of the fire is being investigated and once an assessment of the incident is complete then further details will be provided.
“Dorian LPG wishes to express their condolences to the family and friends of the lost and injured.”
