MSI Ship Management said the successfultransfer of all the cargo and fuel from the 44,404-dwt ship (built 2003) had beenfinished.
It praised Ulsan authorities for allowingthe vessel in: “That decision made possible a safe conclusion to a tense andcomplicated 106 days.”
The vessel spent a controversial threemonths under tow and in danger of breaking up in the Sea of Japan, as a placeof refuge was sought.
