The 18-ton boat clashed with the 706-teu South Korean containership Bohai Star (built 2000) on Thursday morning, six miles off Tsushima island .
The boxship was heading to Japan’s Hakata port from Busan, Maritime Bulletin reported.
The extent of damage to the Nam Sung Shipping vessel was not known.
