About 117 people are reported to have been lifted off the 850 passenger capacity vessel by helicopters while another 150 have taken to lifeboats and rafts.
But that means there are still more than 200 people on the disabled 26,900-gt Norman Atlantic(built 2009) with a number trapped by fire on the upper deck of the vessel.
