As TradeWinds’ print edition reported Friday the lightering vessel to be used will be Excelerate Energy's 138,000-cbm Excellence (built 2005).
In an e-mail statement provided to TradeWinds, Teekay said its grounded 165,500-cbm vessel will be refloated with the assistance of four tugs.
It will then be moved to safe anchorage where a full inspection will be undertaken, Teekay said.
The company’s intention is to reload the cargo and the vessel’s voyage to be continued.
