A fire has broken out on the first of two 125,000-gt luxury cruiseships under construction at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ (MHI) Nagasaki shipyard for Aida Cruises in the latest setback for the newbuilding project.
According to local reports the fire broke out at 8pm last night on deck seven of the ship, to be named Aida Prima, and 400 workers were evacuated.
