Tugs have refloated a grounded vessel in the Parana De Las Palmas river and navigation in the channel has continued as normal.
The 62,823-dwt bulker Avocet Arrow (built 2015) is now continuing its voyage and traffic on the river has been reinstated.
It grounded in soft mud in Argentinean waters late on Sunday and it was refloated yesterday evening.
Gearbulk, which owns the vessel, said the cargo and 23 Filipino crew are safe.
