The US Coastguard (USCG) suspended its search for an elderly couple who went missing from a Carnival cruiseship last week.
The couple are “presumed to have gone overboard” from the 2,052-berth Carnival Paradise during a cruise from the US west coast to Mexico, the owner said in a statement.
The 90-year-old man and his 79-year-old wife boarded the Panama-flagged ship in Long Beach, California early last week for the short cruise to Baja California in Mexico.
