The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) says a fire aboard a heavy lift barge at Jurong Shipyard has been brought under control.
The fire broke out at the Sembcorp Marine yard on Monday evening and at one stage involved close to 70 firefighters.
However, by about 10:30 pm local time the SCDF said the fire on the barge had “been contained and is now well under control”.
