Brazilian authorities have suspended rescue operations after a Greek engineer disappeared earlier this month.
As TradeWinds reported on 19 August, the third engineer of the 74,744-dwt Samjohn Amity (built 1998) disappeared when a small boat that was transferring him onshore collided with another ship.
The accident took place four nautical miles off the port of Vila Do Conde, in the Barcarena region.
