Norway's Klaveness Ship Management (KSM) has carried out what it claims is the world's first ever digital vessel survey.

This took place on its 2,546-teu boxship Bardu (built 2014) with class society DNV GL last week.

The survey saved surveyor Rolf Hancke a trip to Shanghai to visit the vessel, and gave full insight into maintenance data through live dashboards from the Klaveness head office in Norway.
