Thai bulker owner Thoresen Thai Agencies (TTA) has confirmed the purchase of the open-hatch bulk carrier Beautiful Queen (built 2002).
TradeWinds reported in its paper edition on Friday that the owner had acquired the 47,100-dwt vessel from Winland Shipping of China for $37.5m.
In an announcement to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Monday TTA named the purchase price as $37m for the PT Pal-built handymax.
