Carnival Corp’s mooted joint venture with German tour group TUI is set for delay after anti-trust regulators said they would carry out an in-depth review of the deal.
A spokesman for Germany’s Cartel Office said it needed to investigate the impact of the tie-up which will see the two groups collaborate in the domestic market. The probe is expected to take three months.
