A new chief has been installed at the head of Western India Shipyard following a meeting of the company’s banker owners.
Subhash Kumar Mutreja is set to take over as chief executive of the company following the expiry of current managing director Shekhar Singh’s contract on 15 July.
The decision was voted on by the company’s board, which mainly comprises representatives from the banks and financial institutions which own the yard.
