A cargoship believed to be controlled by North Korea has been inspected at a Filipino port shortly after the United Nations cleared new sanctions against the Pyongyang regime.

The 6,830-dwt Jin Teng (built 1997) docked at a port northwest of Manila.

AP reports that the general cargoship is one of the 31 vessels blacklisted by the UN yesterday.

Clarksons lists Chinese company Blue Ocean as the owner of the vessel while data from equasis.org
