Gearbulk and Grieg Star today put a name to a joint-venture that proved one of the major merger and acquisition deals of last year.
The new partners are launching their combined efforts under the banner of G2 Ocean.
It will operate over 130 ships, with Gearbulk and Grieg Star holding stakes of 65% and 35% respectively.
The venture was first announced in October last year in a move Grieg Star chief executive Camilla Grieg said was "overdue".
