A US judge has denied a bid by Greece’s Angelakos Hellas to eject several prosecution witnesses ahead of a criminal trial over alleged oily waste dumping from a panamax bulker.
The Greek shipowner’s Chalos & Co lawyers had asked US District Judge John Coughenor, of the US federal court in Seattle, to block six expert witnesses from testifying in the case.
