Yasa Shipping of Turkey has locked its largest bulker into a period deal with Koch Shipping as the Baltic Dry Index moved back above 1,000 points on Thursday.
The trader, which has been building a capesize operation during the past year, has hired the 207,800-dwt Yasa Dream (built 2008) for four to six months at $17,400 per day, the Baltic Exchange says.
