Diana Shipping and Thenamaris picked up time charters for single bulkers as the dry cargo market continued to retreat today.
Caravel Shipping has chartered the 75,200-dwt Dione (built 2001) on a nine to 12 month deal, the New York-listed owner announced.
In a statement to investors, Diana said the ship will earn $7,200 per day for the first 90 days, dipping to $7,050 per day for the balance of a deal that will generate at least $1.92m
