The Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) has more work ahead of it in Argentina after making strides in its efforts to combat corruption at the port of Rosario, the organisation’s vice chairman said.

The group, which is made up of shipowners, operators and other maritime industry stakeholders, has been carrying out a collective action at the South American port to address the situation, in which ship crews have faced demands for payment to pass inspections of cargo holds.
