Yasa Shipping is being linked to an order for bulkers at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding. The Turkish owner, however, is dismissing the speculation.
Industry sources say Yasa is ordering up to eight ultramaxes at the Singapore-listed yard for delivery in 2019. The deal would be for four firm vessels and four options.
“Yasa has signed a letter of intent with Yangzijiang”, claimed one market source.
