China Steel Express has confirmed an order for two newcastlemaxes.
The marine transport arm of China Steel Corp (CSC) has ordered a pair of 208,000-dwt newbuildings at Taiwan’s CSBC Corp.
The delivery date for the newcastlemaxes has been set for the third quarter of 2019.
TradeWinds reported in mid-June that China Steel Express was poised to secure an order for a newcastlemax duo worth $100m.
