Diana Shipping chartered out one of its modern panamax bulkers as dry bulk rates see another day of gains.
Seoul-based freight forwarder Unico Logistics hired the 75,043-dwt Maera (built 2013) for a nine-month stretch starting tomorrow. The Maera is going for $11,900 per day, minus a 5% commission to third parties.
The charter is expected to generate $3.2m in gross revenue to the Simeon Palios-led company during its term.
