A Diana Shipping bulker that grounded off Indonesia this summer has been scrapped.
New York-listed Diana has sold the 76,400-dwt Melite (built 2004) on an “as is where is” basis, it announced today.
It comes after the owner submitted a notice of abandonment for the bulker, which grounded in July.
