Diana Shipping fixed a panamax on a one-year time charter at an indicative rate for 2018.
Phaethon International will take the 73,546-dwt Naias (built 2006) for a gross charter rate of $10,000 per day, minus a 5% commission. The charter stretches between 15 and 18 months, beginning 24 November.
The hire should generate $4.35 million of gross revenue for the minimum length of the time charter.
