Golden Ocean is strongly considering the reintroduction of a dividend - but the payout is more likely to arrive once the company has completed the delivery of its final newbuildings.
Oslo and New York-listed Golden Ocean had been tipped by some analysts to resume payouts in the third quarter after fixing restrictive loan covenants in October.
In the event, the quarterly report arrived today without a dividend being paid for a period which brought a stronger than forecast performance.
