Alpha Bulkers has turned to a Chinese shipyard for a four-vessel order that will boost its managed kamsarmax fleet to 10.
The Athens-based company revealed on its website that the 81,800-dwt units are under construction at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding. It did not elaborate, except to say the four ships will be delivered in 2018. That probably puts their completion towards the very end of this year.
