Employees at two Argentine grain terminals owned by agricultural giant Cargill are walking off the job to protest layoffs, according to local news reports.

Ship transits are seeing some delays, but are not expected to cause protracted demurrage among bulkers in the region, local shipbroking sources say.

The first walk-off hit Cargill's Villa Gobernador plant on the Parana River. About 400 employees at the soybean crushing plant have walked off the job over lay-offs.
