Trading heavyweight Cargill is combining with CSSC Leasing for a major baby-cape order in China, shipbrokers say.
A deal for six 120,000-dwt vessels is reported to have been inked at CSSC.
A price of $35m is being placed on each of the bulkers, pushing the total contract to $210m.
While Cargill is said to be the charterer of the newbuildings, the details of the contract are not yet clear.
