Diana Shipping has fixed one of its panamaxes at a higher rate with Glencore Agriculture.
The Simeon Palios-led company has entered into a time charter contract for its 73,593-dwt Arethusa (built 2007) at a rate of $12,600 per day for 12 to 15 months.
The rate for the charter, to begin 25 April, is largely in line with last week's one-year panamax rate of $13,125, according to Clarksons.
