Norwegian bulker owner Torvald Klaveness has revealed "strong" rates for its vessel pools over the first five months.
The company said its Bulkhandling handymax operation delivered an average daily result of $10,770, while the Baumarine panamaxes earnings were $12,700 per day.
This compares to $10,850 and $12,675 per day in March.
"The first five months of 2018, the market has been strong in absolute terms," it said.
