Steel company Outokumpu, which exited shipping in the latenineties, has contracted TransAtlantic to import and export product from itsplant in Tornio, Lapland.

“TransAtlantic was a natural choice for us due to theirpresence in the Bay of Bothnia,” says Pekka Harjuoja, shipping manager atOutokumpu.

“Our competitiveness on the market requires an efficient andsustainable supply chain and TransAtlantic offered the best solution.”
