The Hong Kong and Singapore-listed bulker owner is taking the 71,000–dwt Hsin Ho (built 1997) from Ta-ho Maritime of Taiwan.
Courage will hand over a cheque for $8.6m when the ship is deliveredin mid-January, it said in a statement.
The Hsu Chih Chien-led outfit shed nine older vessels, manyof them for scrap, during the downturn but began its renewal in January withthe addition of a capesize from Dong-A Tanker for $8.8m.
