Pioneer has taken its newbuildings catalogue to ten across two yards, in addition to the ten ships it has in the water, its chief executive said today.
TradeWinds reported last week Pioneer had build an orderbookof two handysize bulkers at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering and four at Chinese compatriot Yangzhou Guoyu Shipbuilding.
Khanna told the Marine Money conference in London the company has committed capital of over $400m to date on second hand ships and newbuildings and has ten further options available.
