The expanding Thaishipowner has ordered the 64,000-dwt vessels at Sainty Marine for between $27.4m and $27.9meach.
Itsaid it will also enter into two further newbuilding contracts for 64,000-dwtbulkers with Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering at a cost of $27.9m each.
Bangkok-basedPrecious said the entire series of twelve ultramax newbuildings would set itback around $333.8m.
The twelve ships, which will be eitherSingapore of Thai-flagged, are due to be delivered between May 2015 and March2016.
