Atlantska sells again

Croatia’s Atlantska Plovidba has clinched another ship sale as its fleet renewal continues apace.

It told the Zagreb stock exchange that the 7,400–dwt general cargoship Atlant Trina (built 1995) has been handed over to its unnamed new owner in the port of Doha.

A 1994-built sistership remains in the fleet, but the rest of its vessels are now bulkers.

In February, the company said it had offloaded the 75,000-dwt bulker City of Dubrovnik (built 1995), the 34,000-dwt bulker Orsula (built 1996) and the 7,300-dwt general cargoship Atlant Frauke (built 1994).

The first two were chartered back for five years.

In October it sold and leased back two other bulkers.

It has four new bulkers being built in China.
