The company said it recorded a net loss of JPY 835m ($8.14m) to 30 June, compared to JPY 421m in the same period of 2013.
Revenue rose to JPY 4.43bn from JPY 3.95bn.
Over the full year it is forecasting a loss of JPY 770m, compared to a profit of JPY 381m in the previous 12-month period.
TradeWinds reported in May that the specialist handysize and handymax operator is to be merged with sister company Inui Warehouse in a move that will see it delist from the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
