Jeffrey Landsberg, managing director of Commodore Research & Consultancy, has forcast even more gains.
“Brazilian iron ore production has continued to surge, as anticipated, and is still expected to reach a much higher level this quarter,” he said in a research note.
“This is very encouraging for capesize prospects, especially as availability of capesize vessels in the Atlantic basin is already very tight.”
