In its profit warning published today, the leading supramax owner said it is still waiting for arbitration awards from the two companies to be paid.
In November 2013, two subsidiaries owned by Jinhui, were awarded $29m in total in respect of two vessels chartered to GCL a number of years ago. The latter has allegedly failed to fulfill its contractual obligations.
