E.ON has chartered the 180,000-dwt Q Amreen on a 12 month deal after its delivery from Sungdong Shipbuilding, the Baltic Exchange reports Friday.
A rate of $13,000 daily has been placed on the charter, which is more than double the depressed spot market level.
The ship is one of 14 bulkers in the fleet of Riverstone-backed Quintana, which looked at a US listing last year.
