The Greek bulker and boxship owner said overall net earnings fell to $10.87m from $18.36m, but the previous year's figure was boosted by a $29.8m gain from an insurance settlement.

Without this one-off gain, the adjusted 2015 result was fractionally ahead of the $10.58m result last year.

Revenue declined to $56.78m from $57.49m over the same period. The fall was mainly attributable to the decrease in time charter equivalent earnings to $18,625 per day from $20,785 per day in 2014.
