Vocal Scorpio Bulkers shareholder Monarch Alternative has raised its interest in the shipowner and repeated a call for additions to the board room.
Monarch has added an extra 1,829,920 shares to its Scorpio Bulkers tally, taking its stake to 11.57%, an SEC filing showed.
Based on the last close of the company stock, Monarch has snapped up $2.88m worth of shares in the shipowner.
