Malaysian Bulk Carriers (MBC) has posted a bigger loss for the third quarter as it felt the pressure on dry rates.
The bulker and tanker owner logged a loss of MYR 14.7m ($3.5m) compared to MYR 2.9m a year earlier.
The red ink came on the back of an average daily rate of $6,118 for the company’s bulkers, compared to $8,905 at the same stage last year.
